Sibenik is located in a vast bay where the Krka River enters the sea.
Šibenik, a city of rich history, is only half an hour from our accommodation units (50 km). Sibenik stands out with its unique position in the vast bay at the mouth of the river Krka. In the old part of town, the houses are stone and narrow, narrow and curved streets with many stairs and passages. Small squares and numerous cultural and historical monuments bear witness to the rich history of Sibenik. This jewel of Croatian creativity that has sprung up in the canyon of Krka today has about 52,000 inhabitants.
Sibenik cathedral of St. Jakov, built more than a hundred years ago, is a testimony to the persistence, renunciation, and devotion of Sibenik's generations. It is special in many ways, not only in Croatian but also in European construction: it is entirely made of stone.
From the city beach Banj you have a fantastic view of old Sibenik, and you can play beach volleyball or just relax at the nearby bar with a beach open just a few years ago. The nearest sandy beach is a few kilometers further away in Solaris.
